The reception time of the Three Gorges Dam Scenic Area is from 8:00 to 17:00, the reception time of Yemingzhu Triangle Reception Station is from 7:30 to 16:00, and the reception time of the Zigui Transfer Center of the Three Gorges Dam Tourist Transit Center is from 8:00 to 15:00.
2. Reservation
Visitors need to make an appointment by real-name registration through WeChat public account "Three Gorges Dam Tourism" and pay the transportation fee (35 yuan/person). The appointment time is divided into morning (8:00-12:00) and afternoon (12:00-17:00). The reservation information needs to include the real name, mobile phone number, ID card number, and visiting time. Minors (without ID cards) and foreign tourists can directly make a reservation and purchase tickets at the ticket windows on-site.

Taking the Train🚄: If you take the train to Yichang, you can walk about 500m from Yichang East Station to the Yichang Bus Passenger Transport Center to transfer to the shuttle bus or take the 809-2 intercity bus to the Three Gorges Dam Tourist Transit Center (you can also take B9➡️Gezhouba and transfer to B100▶️walk to Yemingzhu Bus Station▶️take 216). During the National Day, the shuttle route to Zigui Transit Center was opened. It is convenient to go to Zigui for about 10 minutes.
Self-driving🚖: After arriving in Yichang, take the Three Gorges Expressway and obtain a pass certificate🚨 at the inspection stations along the way (which can be obtained for free‼️) with the driving license and driver's license in hand.

The five-tier ship lock of the Three Gorges Dam is the main navigational building of the Three Gorges Project, with a total length of 6.4 kilometers. The water level drop of the ship lock is 113 meters, equivalent to a 35-story building. The double-line five-tier ship lock is the largest inland ship lock in the world, creating the largest water level drop and shipping effect in the world.

Located at the port of the left bank of the dam's top road, it is named after its height of 185 meters, which is the same as the top of the dam. 1. Take the shuttle bus from the Three Gorges Dam Tourist Center to Tanziling.
2. Walk to the Ship Lock Viewing Platform from Tanziling.
3. Walk or take a battery car (10 yuan/person) from the Ship Lock Viewing Platform to the 185 Viewing Platform.
4. Take the shuttle bus from the 185 Viewing Platform to Interception Memorial Park.
5. Take the shuttle bus back to the Tourist Center from Interception Memorial Park.
